Easter (Pascua) 2009

Bienvenidos a La Paz para Pascua (Welcome to La Paz for Easter). We had the priviledge of going on a 16 hour bus ride up to La Paz where we spent Easter with roughly 3000 Bolivians. It was incredible. Below are a few pictures of all the people in the building. Of course people continued to flood the doors throughout the service and these pictures were taken at the beginning.

We also had the opportunity to travel to the highest navigable lake in the world: Lake Titicaca. Below is a picture of a reed boat that is traditionally used on the lake.

Now we are back from La Paz and working hard again at language classes. We feel that we are improving every week and it is exiting to think about where we will be in a few months.

I just finished a spanish class, but I'm sure I'm not as proficient as you two are now! Maybe when you return, you can give me a few lessons on the preterite and the imperfect and when to use each!

God's richest blessings to you both as you communicate with Him and others,
