This weekend we went to a junta (gathering of local churches) in Pazna, Bolivia. Pazna is in the district of Oruro and is a very small village over 2.5 miles above sea level. The junta included five churches, 100 people and roughly 15 hours of singing and preaching. We were asked to share our testimony and encourage the jovenes (18 - 30 yr. olds) with the power of prayer and a personal relationship with God.

To the Mountains of Bolivia
We had the opportunity to visit the beautiful mountains of Samaipata. It was a chance for us to some of the beautiful forests outside of the city of Santa Cruz. Here are some of the photos:
We also had an interesting experience with a parrot that we befriended. He enjoyed hanging out so much that he attempted to chew a hole in our door. Just so he could visit. We didn't want a hole in the door, we figured the owners might get mad; so we opened the door to push him back and instead the bird came in!!! He ended up on our bed and it took a great deal of effort and crackers to get him on a stick so we could take him outside. Here is a picture of our beautiful, crazy friend.
