We had the opportunity to visit the beautiful mountains of Samaipata. It was a chance for us to some of the beautiful forests outside of the city of Santa Cruz. Here are some of the photos:
We also had an interesting experience with a parrot that we befriended. He enjoyed hanging out so much that he attempted to chew a hole in our door. Just so he could visit. We didn't want a hole in the door, we figured the owners might get mad; so we opened the door to push him back and instead the bird came in!!! He ended up on our bed and it took a great deal of effort and crackers to get him on a stick so we could take him outside. Here is a picture of our beautiful, crazy friend.

God knew you needed a friend! Lol! (And a very persistent one at that!!) Just remember that God often speaks to us through His creation...and that lovely bird...that annoying bird...that crazy bird...well, he's definitely "speaking" to you! :)
Polly want a cracker?
Aren't you glad that God stands at the door and knocks? He doesn't peck a hole in our hearts...or push His way in...But He very patiently waits to be invited in. Hmmmmm...maybe this bird needs a very Biblical lesson in patience!!
Our love to you both!
